IHSW Stitching...and a giveaway link :)

So how was your weekend? Did you lock yourself away to hermit? :)

Well....I didn't quite get to lock myself away....but I *did* do some stitching ....in between little bug's party that she had to go to...middle bug's soccer match....and eldest bug's extra math classes....

Oh....and mum wanted me to take her to the wool shop ......so yes....I did some wool shopping too!

Soooo......this weekend saw me do a little on this.....

LHN - The Library before IHSW....
The Library after last night.....

I spent a lot more time on The Castle.....
Finished the crocodiles...back stitched and all.....got the dragon going....did the back stitch on the bridge...added a bit of sky and finished off the moat! Not too shabby! :)

I worked on Alphabet Learner over the week and finished off the octopus :)

I also spent some time working on a crochet blankie/afghan for my eldest. The plan is to do one for all of the buggies....starting with eldest and working my way down to youngest...who is not at all impressed with my plan! I forgot to take a pic this morning but will do at some stage and post!

Now.....who doesn't like a good giveaway??? Nancy, over at The Victorian Motto Sampler Shoppe is having another one of her super generous giveaways! She'll be giving away your choice of 5 skeins of her gorgeous threads to 5 different stitchers!!! Go and pay her a visit here and read all about her super giveaway :)

So what plans for the week then? Me? I have the small for the 2014 Small SAL to start.....so will be spending a part of this week on that....and crochet....and a project or two ....still to be determined. Hubby is in Germany on course this week....anyone know if there is a good needlework shop in Hanover? :D

Have a super week all!

Take care

Lovely projects :) I am curious about crochet but I'll stick with knitting for now. Great idea about the blankets :)

I don't know how you manage to get so much done when you must have so little time. Everything looks so interesting, lovely work.
