YOTA Update 4

This is me doing the white rabbit thing again.....I'm late I'm late.......

Have you had a restful weekend? I assume that it has been a long weekend all over the world....or am I wrong?

We've had a rather quiet one here....just enjoying the sun when it pops out (it did so today!)  and vegetating at home. Stitching has been happening.....and I'm happy to say that I've made some little progress with my YOTA piece.....which is still "Woodland Enchantress ". I have quite a few big pieces that qualify for stitching as my YOTA project, but would really like to see Enchantress completed so will continue working on her for now...
For more info on this laid.back SAL head over to Pull The Other Thread :)

So last month, I had done a bit of stitching in column one and a few more to the tree......
Enchantress at Update 3

I know I said I wanted to work this in columns....but sometime during my stitching things kinda got spread out......so now this is what I'm looking at.....

Progress!!

Have a lovely week.....be safe :)

Take care

Our weekend wasn't long unfortunately. Though it was delightfully lazy. Maybe other lucky companies give off for Good Friday but not my husbands, harrumph!

I like how you're just going with the flow on this piece. I think it makes stitching a lot more fun when you hop around doing whatever tickles your fancy on a piece. :D And that's quite a lot of progress too!

Great progress! You are way braver than me, I would never trust my counting to jump so far across the fabric. The gridding must help though.
This looks wonderful and I hope you'll keep it as your YOTA piece so we can see more of it.

Nice going! I used to do counted cross stitch. I loved stitching in a quiet place and for me it was instant gratification no matter how far I got in one sitting. Now, I look for stitching that doesn't require so much concentration. It seems like even our days are a roller coaster of events and quiet moments are difficult to find.
xx, Carol

Good progress. I like the colour combination. Nice to read that you are getting some time to relax over the Easter break.

Great progress. I much prefer to stitch as it comes rather than follow rigid grid lines.

Progress is progress no matter where on the page it is! I love the autumnal colours in this one. :)

Well, I think you should congratulate your white rabbit -- he may be late, but you've made excellent progress. :)

Nice progress. It seems like I'm always chasing my tail... busy, tiring weekends and long work weeks.

Oh my, somehow I have missed this post. How come???
Well, over the Easter weekened we had two very calm days, perfect for reading and stitching. The our two sons were visiting, one after the other and chatting and catching up and eating was perfect too, lol.

You made some great progress on your YOTA piece. Particularly on these large pieces every ten stitches is a progress. I LOVE huge pieces.
